Several months ago he left for the west owing to being troubled with asthma. He had gotten along nicely and had not suffered from the malady, but, almost without warning his throat filled and in the darkness of midnight passed away in a moment. Frank Fiscus was a young man of promise, possessing those strong traits of noble manhood and peculiar characteristics of true greatness that marked him as one whose real worth was unlimited and one whose manhood would never be sullied by the petty trials of life or the contaminating obstacles that usually retard and prevent the onward and upward trend of mankind. He was firm, positive and true to his convictions ever being earnest and sincere never wavering or faltering in what be thought was his duty. Sorrowing friends will cherish the memory of the departed and hold sacred the endearing friendship that existed while the saddened hearts of the weeping relatives will prompt them to love deeply and tenderly guard the honor of their loved departed. In the promise and pride of useful and noble hopes and aspirations one has departed to the better and brighter world where the fondest hopes of life are fulfilled and in an endless eternity, he, with those that have gone on before, may revel in the joy and peace and happiness not of this world."
