Description	:	Obituary from the Clinton Herald: "Frank Kershner, 74, of Clinton died early this morning in the Grand Mound home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed (Clara) Hansen. The body is in the Pape funeral home. Arrangements are incomplete. Mr. Kershner was born in Germany, Sept. 22, 1875, and married Thelma Manikowski in Germany in 1900. He was a member of St. Irenaeus church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mary Maher and Mrs. Martha Dean of Jackson, MI. Mrs. Loretta Cramm of Clinton and Mrs. Hansen; two sons, Frank of Jackson and Edward of Clinton; five sisters in Germany and 17 grandchildren.... Obituary from the Clinton Herald 11 Aug 1933: "Mrs. Frank Kershner, 50, 2815 Roosevelt St., died at 12:25 o'clock Thursday morning in the family home, following an illness since November last year. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, with a requiem mass at 10 o'clock in St. Irenaeus church. The Rev. E.F. Jackson will officiate, with burial in Calvary cemetery. Selma Manikowski was born Dec. 26, 1872, in Germany, where she received her education and was married to Frank Kershner 28 years ago. The family came to America 20 years ago, and came direct from NY city to this county, in which vicinity, they have always lived. Seven children were born to this union, a daughter dying in infancy. Of her immediate family she is survived by her husband, four daughters and two sons, Edward, Frank and Martha at home, Mrs. Raymond Maher of Jackson, MI, Mrs. Edward Hansen and Mrs. Frank Cramm of this city, and six grandchildren, Raymond and Jackie, Jimmie and Billie Maher of Jackson, MI, Edward and Eugene Hansen of this city."
