FRANK WURDINGER It was certainly a saddening surprise to our citizens last Friday when they learned that Frank Wurdinger had died at his home in the east part of this city. While it had been generally known he has been ailing for some time, suffering from tuberculosis, it was not known that he was so near the end. While it had been generally known he has been ailing for some time, suffering from tuberculosis, it was not known that he was so near the end. Deceased was born in Austria January 22, 1871 and was 41 years of age. He came to America with his parents when he was twelve years of age and the family settled in Shelby county Iowa. Here he lived for eight years, then came to Randolph and settled on a farm east of town that he has since owned. On January 21, 1896 he was married to Anna Denner. In the spring of 1911 failing health compelled him to leave the farm and he moved to town to a residence that he had built for a home. After moving to town he made trips to the mountains and to the south in hope of finding relief, but with no results and gradually faded until the end came. He leaves a wife and eight children, an aged mother, a brother, Joseph, three sisters; Mrs. Matt Kuhl and Mrs. John Gubbels of this city and Mrs. Hoffman of Osmond. The funeral was held from the St. Frances Catholic Church and the remains laid to rest in the cemetery. thanks to Theresa Korth
