Description	:	Frank L. Langferman, age 93, of Yankton, SD, formerly of Crofton, Nebraska died on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Hartington, NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 10:30 am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Crofton with Rev. Michael Keating officiating. Burial will be in the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Crofton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Frank's great grandchildren; Tyler, Kyle, Lexy, and Tanner Loecker. Frank was born on December 11, 1915 at Crofton to Bernard and Mary (Ausdemore) Langferman. He grew up in the Crofton area and married Odelia M. Luft on October 21, 1947 at Constance, NE. He lived and farmed near Crofton all of his life. He retired and moved into Crofton in 1981. In January of 2007 he and Odelia moved to Yankton. He was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Frank loved to play cards and spend time with his family. Frank is survived by his wife, Odelia Langferman of Yankton; 2 daughters and their husbands, Mary Lou and Raymond Avenell of Aten, NE; Linda and Vince Tramp of Yankton; 3 grandchildren, Wendy Loecker of Sioux Falls; Jerry Swensen of Portland, OR; Craig Swensen of Yankton; 4 great grandchildren, all of Yankton; a brother, Erwin Langferman of Perry, Kansas; and a sister, Martha and Reinold Burbach of North Platte, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Helen Potts, Johanna Langferman, 6 brothers, Joe, George, Wendell, Albert, Henry, and Raymond Langferman. Press and Dakotan June 8, 2009
