Description	:	FRANK LATCH _______ Died After Long Illness at Alexander _______ Frank Latch, for many years a resident of Alexander, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. L. Beenen, in Alexander, Wednesday of last week. Mr. Latch had been an invalid for nearly fifteen years but had always born his affliction with patience and fortitude. Read More	FRANK LATCH _______ Died After Long Illness at Alexander _______ Frank Latch, for many years a resident of Alexander, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. L. Beenen, in Alexander, Wednesday of last week. Mr. Latch had been an invalid for nearly fifteen years but had always born his affliction with patience and fortitude. The deceased was born January 1, 1863, and the most of the years of his life were spent in Franklin county. He was married to Miss Jennie Groenhoff, of Ackley on May 10th, 1886. His wife preceded him in death, her demise occurring on December 4, 1916. After the death of his wife he made his home with his daughter, Mrs. C. F. Klinefelter, in Alexander, for four years and since that time he has been living with another daughter, Mrs. A. L. Beenen. Besides Mrs. Klinefelter and Mrs. Beenen he is survived by one other daughter, Mrs. L. J. Groh, of Lyle, Minnesota, and one son, George Latch, of Luverne, Iowa. He is also survived by four sisters: Mrs. Mary Spekker of Fresno, California; Mrs. E. Maier, of Dumont; Mrs. W. Meyer, of Ackley, and Mrs. A. B. Arends, of Alexander. The funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon at the home and were conducted by Sherman Arends, of Hayfield, Minnesota, a grandson of the deceased. Interment was made at Alexander. ________ Ackley World Journal, February 22, 1923, Ackley, Iowa.
