Cook and Viola (Clay) Cook, was born June 12, 1898, on a farm west of Imperial, where he lived and grew to manhood. Read More	Frank Cook Passed Away October 17 Frank Lavern Cook, second son of the late D. E. Cook and Viola (Clay) Cook, was born June 12, 1898, on a farm west of Imperial, where he lived and grew to manhood. He departed this life October 17, 1974, at the age of 84 years, 4 months and five days. He lived and worked his entire lifetime in the Imperial area. He was united in marriage to Josephine Esther Hine on April 25, 1920. To this union five children were born: Paul, Arlon, Estle, a daughter Wanda, and a daughter who died at birth. Frank and Josephine celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in April 1970. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior early in life and was active in the testimony at Imperial and Palisade, serving as Bible teacher and correspondent for several years. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother Floyd, sister-in-law Leota, once child and his loving wife Josephine, who was called home to Heaven on February 19, 1972. He leaves to away the home call of the Lord his children, Paul and wife Betty of Springfield, Mo., Arlon, his wife Leta, Spokane, Wash., Estle, his wife Elma Lee of Hastings and Wanda, her husband William Hayes of Imperial, 11 grandchildren, their wives and husbands, eight great grandchildren, brother Casper, his wife Lillie of Renton, Wash., brother Orrant, his wife Leorna, of Imperial, sisters Ruby, her husband, Robert Baker of Kit Carson, Colo., sister-in-law Fern, her husband Lloyd Browing of Calhan, Colo., numerous nephews and nieces and many dear friends. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the United Methodist Church in Imperial with the Rev. Ben Palmer officiating. Singers at the service were Mrs. Glen Harless, Mrs. Don Egle, Dwight Hoff and Charles Schofield accompanied by Mrs. Charles Schofield. Escorts were Eldon Cook, David Cook, Danny Cook, Ray Ridlen, Bill McCoy and Fred Seicrest. Interment was at Mount Hope Cemetery near Imperial. Creveling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
