D, died at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday in the Monticello Healthcare Center. He was born July 18, 1900, in Chicago to Joseph and Anna Pechran Binder. He was married July 2, 1971, in Wolcott, to Rowena Lucy Sigman, who survives. He moved to Monticello 18 years ago from Chicago. He was a retired accountant. He was a member of the Lutheran Church in Chicago. He was a life member of the American Legion, and a member of American Legion Post 81, Monticello. He was a veteran of the United States Marines, having served during World War I. Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Mary Ann Young, Chowchilla, Calif.; a son, Frank, Chicago; a sister, Beth Jarmer; eight stepsons, Ray Sigman, Brookston, Don and Wayne Sigman, both of Monticello; Wayne, Everett and Gordon Sigman, all of Florida, Richard Sigman, Remington, and Delbert Sigman, Lafayette; a stepdaughter, Betty Pearson, Monticello; eight grandchildren; 28 stepgrandchildren; and 27 step-great-grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters preceded in death. The body was cremated. Graveside services, with military rites, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 15, in Riverview Cemetery. The Rev. Edward Pearson will officiate. Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
