Description	:	Frank L. Masterson, 414 West Jackson, died yesterday of a heart attack. Mr. Masterson was born at Fairfield, Illinois, May 1, 1909. He was married to Leona Baker June 3, 1934, at Iola and had been employed at the LeHigh Portland Cement Company plant for the past 30 years. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church and the American Legion. Many people will remember Mr. Masterson for his devotion to the boys' baseball program in Iola. Mr. Masterson was born at Fairfield, Illinois, May 1, 1909. He was married to Leona Baker June 3, 1934, at Iola and had been employed at the LeHigh Portland Cement Company plant for the past 30 years. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church and the American Legion. Many people will remember Mr. Masterson for his devotion to the boys' baseball program in Iola. Survivors include his widow of the home; a son John Masterson, with the Navy; a daughter, Mrs. Glen (Jeanne) Percy, Hutchinson; a half-brother Sherman Carlyle, Illinois; a half-sister Mrs. Corrine McManess, Lawton, Oklahoma, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Waugh-Yokum Funeral Home. The Rev. W.J. Deckinger will officiate. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery. Iola Register February 10, 1969
