The body of Frank Riggs who was a native and resident of Homer until 1893. was brought home Wednesday afternoon for burial in the Fairview cemetery, within a day of what would have been his 70th birthday. He died at his home in Chicago. Monday. Mr. Riggs was born September 27, 1860, on the old Riggs farm, three miles southwest of Homer, and lived in Homer and vicinity until 40 years ago when he moved to Chicago, where he has since resided. Mr. Riggs was a manufacturer of washing powder. He had been in poor health for several years. He was the twin brother of the late Mrs. W. H. Dorris of Homer, and is survived by his wife Lottie" and daughter. Fem. of Chicago; two sisters. Mrs Hattie Doolittle of Marshall and Mrs. Minnie Cook of Los Angeles, and several relative; living in near Homer.
