Description	:	Death claimed another lifetime resident of Tipton county Wednesday morning when Frank Mitchell, age 76, succumbed to heart trouble at his home in Windfall, He had been bothered with a bad heart for the past six months, but had never been confined to his bed. Last Sunday he attended the services at the Christian church in Windfall and was able to walk up town on Tuesday. Death occurred about 7:00 o'clock Wednesday morning following a sudden attack. Mr. Mitchell was born May 13, 1857, three miles north of Windfall on the Tipton-Howard county line, the son of James H. and Eliza (Plummer) Mitchell. His entire life was spent in Tipton county in the vicinity of Windfall and he was respected by everyone. On September 27, 1880, he was united in marriage to Miss Emma Leonard at the home of the bride's sister, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Johns. Rev. Clark read the ceremony. To this union were born four children, the youngest, a son, dying in infancy. The deceased is survived by the widow, one daughter, Mrs. J.W. Spurlin, of Gary; two sons, W.F. Mitchell, as cashier of the Union State Bank at Kokomo; and Claude Mitchell of Frankton; one brother, Boone Mitchell, of near Center; one sister, Mrs. George Swope, of Greentown,; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
