Description	:	Mr. Frank Talbot, who passed away Sunday about noon at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Talbot, three and one-half miles southeast of town, was nearly twenty-six years old. He was born on a farm in Clear Creek Township June 9, 1880. Two years ago he was married to Miss Hattie Wilcox. One daughter, Mabel, was born to them. Talbot, three and one-half miles southeast of town, was nearly twenty-six years old. He was born on a farm in Clear Creek Township June 9, 1880. Two years ago he was married to Miss Hattie Wilcox. One daughter, Mabel, was born to them. The wife and little daughter, father, mother, one sister, Mrs. Henry Brotherson, and two brothers, William and Ralph, are members of the immediate family who mourn his early death. In his boyhood, Mr. Talbot joined the Methodist Episcopal Church. He had lived a true life and won the respect of a large number of friends. Last August he was ill for several weeks of malarial fever, which left his lungs very much affected. In his weakened condition he could not seem to throw off the disease, which had settled there, so early in the winter, about the first of December, in company with his wife and little daughter and father, he went to New Mexico hoping and thinking the change of climate and a winter spent in a warm country would restore him to his usual health. But, though he had all care and attention, although everything was done that could be done, he did not recover, and three weeks ago he returned to the home from which he has now gone forever. The sympathy of kindred friends and neighbors is extended to the members of this family and especially to the young wife and baby daughter in their sorrow. The last rites over the remains were conducted by Elder J. C. Willits, of Oskaloosa, who was assisted by Rev. A. W. McBlain, of the Newton circuit. These services were held at 11 o'clock this morning, were attended by many, and beautiful flowers were sent by relatives and friends. The singers were: Mrs. C. Charlesworth, miss Belle Charlesworth, Messrs George Shelly, and Merritt Charlesworth.
