In Feb. 1888 he was married to Bertha Zaviska and to this union six boys and two girls were born. They came to America 47 years ago and first settled in Nebraska, then moved to Montana 42 years ago, settling at Bad Rock Canyon in Flathead county. Read More	Daily Inter Lake, Kalispell, MT, 22 Jun 1936 Frank Opalka was born October 14, 1864 in Moravia, Europe, and died June 18, 1936 at his farm near Columbia Falls. In Feb. 1888 he was married to Bertha Zaviska and to this union six boys and two girls were born. They came to America 47 years ago and first settled in Nebraska, then moved to Montana 42 years ago, settling at Bad Rock Canyon in Flathead county. He started to work for the forest service 32 years ago when it was still the Lewis and Clark territory, working until 1915; then spent the rest of his life living on the ranch that he homesteaded. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Bertha, four sons, Leo, William, Adolph, and Joseph, and two daughters, Mrs. Marvin Willis and Estella Opalka. Two sons preceded him in death. He leaves one brother and one sister. Services at Saint Richard church in Columbia Falls. Interment in Saint Richard cemetery.
