Description	:	When Frank Brown did not come home Thursday night, Mrs. Brown became alarmed and notified neighbors and a search was started. He had last been seen near the Verne Thornton home northwest of Oakville, and it was in that vicinity the search was made, but it was not until Sunday morning the body was located. F.W. Read More	When Frank Brown did not come home Thursday night, Mrs. Brown became alarmed and notified neighbors and a search was started. He had last been seen near the Verne Thornton home northwest of Oakville, and it was in that vicinity the search was made, but it was not until Sunday morning the body was located. F.W. Timmerman and Leon Blodgett had been searching along the dredge ditch that runs through the Thornton barnyard. Fred and Earl Zippe were in the road talking when Fred noticed something in the water that was fast in the bruch and on investigating found it to be a body. Mr. Blodgett came up at that time, and assisted in removing the body, which proved to be that of Mr. Brown. He was subject to epileptic paroxysms and it is presumed that he suffered one of these spells and fell into the water. The body was brought to the Carter funeral home where it was prepared for burial. Frank Paul Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.H.Brown, both deceased, was born at Oakville, Iowa June 20, 1905; died at Oakville, Iowa May 20, 1943; aged 37 years and 11 months. Mrs. Brown spent his boyhood days in Oakville, later moving to Ottumwa, where on Jan 5, 1935, he was united in marriage to Alta May Christy, who survives. Mr. and Mrs. Brown came to Oakville about a year ago. Besides his widow he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Payne of Abeline, Texas, and a number of relatives and friends. Burial was in the Edwards cemetery Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. R.W. Meeker officiating. The casket bearers were I.E.Brown, Wm. Stigge, Claire Swafford, J.W.
