Description	:	Frank Ritchie, an old and honored settler of this community, died at the home of his son June 1st after a lingering illness. He was born near Milford, Donegal, Ireland, June 8, 1834. He came to this country in 1851 and located at Philadelphia where he married Eliza Wilson in 1856. Seven children were born to this union and his wife died in 1856. In 1875 he was married to Jane Ritchie who died in 1911. The surviving members of the family are William H Ritchie and Eizabeth Brideson of Beaver, Sam and John Ritchie of California. Mr. Ritchie moved to Beaver Crossing in 1885 and united with the Evangelical church here and was prominent as a church worker for the past 22 years. The funeral Monday conducted by the Masonic lodge was one of the largest held here for some time and in honor to his memory the business houses were closed during the sevices at the M. E Church. Rev. Samuel Dillon, a former pastor here but now of Kearney, conducted the services at the church assisted by Rev. Ellis and Brancroft.
