Description	:	Born František Štěpánek on 27 May 1866 in Petrovice, Bohemia, he emigrated, leaving from Bremen on the 'New York' with his parents and three siblings, arriving in New York on 25 Jun 1868. They then traveled with a Svačina family to Tama County Iowa, where the Svačina family had relatives. The Stepanek family settled in Chelsea. Frank worked for the C&NW railroad a number of years and the 125 yr history book says that Frank started the first band in Chelsea.
