Wrenn Jr., 74, of 296 Wrenn Road, Oxford, NC died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Duke University Hospital in Durham. Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Frank Thomas Wrenn Sr. and Carrie Arrington Wrenn. Mr. Wrenn was retired from Harriet & Henderson Yarns Inc. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in Heidelberg, Germany during the Vietnam War. For eighteen years he was Chief of the Watkins Volunteer Fire Department. He was an employee of Flowers Funeral Home. He was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, where he served on the Administrative Board for thirty years. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and the Henderson Moose Lodge. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Lee Miller and Rev. John Jefferson. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife of fifty-two years, Alice Paschall Wrenn; a daughter, Angela W. Cameron (Chris); a son, Frank T. Wrenn III; a sister, Brenda W. Weldon (Robert); a brother, John A. Wrenn (Rhonda); two grandchildren, Catherine Cameron and Carrie Cameron. The family will receive friends Monday, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., at Flowers Funeral Home. All other times, they will be at the home. Serving as active pallbearers will be John Wrenn, Justin Wrenn, Rob Weldon, Wayne Gupton, Timothy Gupton and David Paschall. Watkins Volunteer Fire Department Firemen will be honorary pallbearers. Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to Rehoboth United Methodist Church, c/o Barbara Burwell, 2205 Community House Road, Oxford, NC 27565, or to Watkins Volunteer Fire Department, c/o Virginia Parrott, 1380 Horseshoe Bend Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
