Read More	The Nebraska Signal; 20 September 1951, pg 1 Frank Anderson Former Resident Dies at Lincoln Frank Verner Anderson, son of Carl and Freda Anderson, was born in Natard Knotte, Dalum, Sweden, January 12, 1888. He passed away at his home in Lincoln, Neb., September 15, 1951, at the age of 63 years, 8 months and 3 days. When he was four years of age the family came to America and located in Marshall county, Kansas, where Frank grew to manhood. When about 14 years old he was confirmed in Salem Lutheran church at Axtell, Kas. February 24, 1915, he was united in marriage to Eda Nelson and to this union were born three children, two sons and one daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson established their home on a farm near Frankfort, Kas. In 1919 they located on a farm in Fillmore county, Nebraska, in the Chelsea community. In 1943 after the son had left for the service of his country, Mr. Anderson, not being able to carry on the farm work alone, moved to Geneva where he made his home until May, 1950, when the family moved to Lincoln. Mr. Anderson united with the United Brethren church in Geneva in 1920 and maintained his membership until his passing. He served as a member of the board of trustees for 20 years. He was also a member of the Modern Woodmen of America lodge. Mr. Anderson's health had been failing for years, but about three years ago he was compelled to give up all work and since that time had steadily failed. Though this burden was heavy, he bore it with patience and fortitude. There are left to mourn his passing his wife, a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Margaret of Lincoln, two sisters, Mrs. Aaron Johnson and Mrs. Arvid Van Dorn of Axtell, Kas., a brother, Amil of Kansas City, Mo., and many other relatives and friends. A son and daughter, his father, mother, a sister, Tilda, and a brother, Arthur, preceded him in death, the brother having passed away only six months ago. Funeral services were held from the Evangelical United Brethren church in Geneva Monday, September 17, at 2 p.m. and were in charge of Rev. Maude V. Mann. The pallbearers were George Taylor, John Theede, Ed Myers, Dave Robare, Paul Shaner and Ronald Fox. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
