Vondracek Funeral services for Frank Vondracek, 69, Route 2, Toledo, were held at 10:30 Friday morning from the Chapel of the Funeral Home, Tama, Father Ernest Engler, pastor of St. Patrick’s church officiating. Mrs. Gerry Campbell was organist and accompanied Steve Campbell as he sang ”Be Not Afraid” and “On Eagle’s Wings.” Mr. Vondracek died Wednesday morning September 4, 1991 in Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center, where he had been a patient since the previous Sunday. Born May 3, 1922, northeast of Toledo, he was the son of Frank J. and Mary Helen Chizek Vondracek. He attended rural school and spent his lifetime on farms and worked for George Kunch until 1987, when his health started failing. Mr. Vondracek was a member of the Catholic faith. Survivors include two brothers and two sisters, Edward G., Waterloo and Charles J. Vondracek, Evansdale, Lillian (Mrs. Floren) Bravener, Fredericksburg and Blanche (Mrs. Leo) Duncalf, Luzerne and other more distant relatives.
