Death was attributed to a blood clot. Services were held at the Holyoke Baptist church at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Alvah C. Lynch officiating. Mr. Pugh was a member of the Baptist church. Interment was in Holyoke Memorial Park, with arrangements in charge of the Lewis Funeral Home. Frank Willard Pugh, the only child of William Eugene and Lavina Pugh, was born near Holyoke on September 20, 1888. His father practiced dentistry here for many years. Mr. Pugh grew to manhood on the farm. He was united in marriage to Jessie McDorman on December 24, 1911. To this union were born two sons, Willard LeRoy of Holyoke and Walter Eugene of Denver, and one daughter, Lena Minda, Mrs. Miles White of Denver. Mr. Pugh was engaged in farming 5 ½ miles east of Holyoke for a number of years. In the spring of 1939 he and Mrs. Pugh moved to Holyoke and he was employed at the Holyoke Co-Op feed mill for 14 years. He retired three years ago. Surviving Mr. Pugh besides his wife and the children already mentioned are seven grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Out-of-town relatives who were here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John McDorman of Weed Heights, Nevada, Robert "Bud" McDorman and Miss Lois McDorman of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. John Lamm and Mrs. William Zeigler of Julesburg.
