Read More	Published in the Harlan County Journal (Alma, NE) Thu, Dec 19, 1963 Frank Wilson Newell Brown Frank WIlson Newell Brown, son of George A. and Ella Brown was born in Newton, Ia., January 14, 1876. He died December 6, 1963 at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 22 days. He was a member of the Methodist church and Masonic Lodge at Huntley. He moved to Nebraska in his early teens and homesteaded with his parents near Upland. As a young man he moved to Huntley and farmed west of town prior to his association with the State Bank of Huntley. Mr. Brown was united in marriage to Ala (sic) I. Skiles of Republican City, October 24, 1906. They resided in and near Huntley since that time. Their children are Mrs. John Richman of Kearney, DeWitt Brown of Holdrege, Mrs. Kenneth Harbaugh of Manson, Iowa, Mrs. Cecil Shepherd of Orange, Calif., Mrs. Vern Kubelck of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Mrs. John McBride of Cheyenne, Wyo. Besides his wife and six children, Mr. Brown is survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church at Huntley, December 9, 1963. He was buried in the family plot at Bainbridge Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Joe Baer. Music was furnished by Mrs. Loyd Lowe and Mrs. Merwin Schluntz. Casket bearers were Delmar Norman, Everett Porter, Harold Skiles, Harvey Richman, Donald Sims and Lee Howsden. Zulauf-Banta Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
