Zimmerman both of Lawrence, were married at Hastings August 2nd. ======================= The Lawrence Locomotive (Lawrence, NE), Thursday, March 16, 1961; pg. 1 FRANK WRIGHT DIES IN HASTINGS Frank Wright, son of William and Frances Wright, was born on December 13, 1883 at Lawrence, Nebraska and passed away at the Mary Lanning Hospital on March 2, 1961 at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 29 days. He had been in poor health for several years and critically ill in the hospital for three weeks. He was united in marriage to Henrietta F. Zimmerman on August 2, 1916 at Hastings, Nebr. Mrs. Wright passed away on Feb. 9, 1937. Mr. Wright was a farmer all his life having lived on the home place for 66 years before ill hearth (sic) forced him to sell it two years ago. He then, with his daughter Norma moved to Hastings to make their home at the Good Samaritan Village. As a member of this community he was a respected and honored citizen, who held the friendship of everyone. He is survived by a daughter Norma, a son Lewis Wright and his wife Emily, three grandchildren Robert, Kenneth and Linda Wright; two brothers, Alpheus Wright of Kenneurich, Wash., George Wright of Red Cloud; two sisters Mrs. Fred Gerhart of Edgar and Mrs. Linnie Reeves of Cainsville, Mo. Funeral services were held on March 6 in the Chapel of Livingston-Butler-Volland Funeral Home in Hastings. Rev. Erwin Kiel officiated at the final rites. Burial was made in the Lawrence cemetery. Pall bearers were Marlon Wright, Vernon Wright, Bueford Wright, Chesley Wright, Wilbur Wright and Frank Barton.
