Description	:	Frankie Lee Hatmaker (nee May), "Nana", of Pasadena, died January 1 while visiting her daughter in Bradenton, Florida. Born June 25, 1920 in Coalfield, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Laura Ann (Walls) May. Mrs. Hatmaker taught kindergarten in Jacksboro, Tennessee before moving to Maryland in 1957 and working at Mastercraft Studio's in Baltimore. She retired in the 1970's and continued being a homemaker. She was very active in her church, Grace Baptist Church of Sunset Beach. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years, Leon H. Hatmaker; four brothers, Harry, Hub, Reed and Clyde May; and her sister, Juanita Wilson. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Ford of Jacksboro, TN, Linda (Bob) Jackson of Bradenton, FL and Brenda (Gene) Lilly of Pasadena, MD; her brother, Bobby (Emma) of Jacksboro, TN; nine grandchildren, Kim (Mike) Thomas of Cleveland, TN, Brian Ford of Pasadena, MD, Mickey Ford of Cleveland, TN, Lee Ford of Wilson, NC, Robbie (Jim) Jackson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Stacey (Darrin) Benning of Pasadena, MD, Jimmy (Becky) of LaFollette, TN, Brad Jackson of Bradenton, FL and Elizabeth (Gary) Harness of Jacksboro, TN; six step-grandchildren, John (Carol) Lilly of Upland, IN, Bonnie (Babu) Kumar of Baltimore, Cindy (Dave) ViaConte of Rochester, NY, Angie (Richard) Thiess Glen Burnie; Ken (Kim) Lillyof Pasadena, MD and Teresa Smith of Glen Burnie; and ten great- grandchildren, in addition to many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. today, Saturday, January 7 at Faith Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Doug Alberts, Rev. Buddy Howard, Rev. John Brittain, and Rev. Elwood Ulmer. Interment will be held at a later date as Mrs. Hatmaker has chosen to be a donor. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Grace Baptist Church of Sunset Beach, 17 Somerset Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. Published in the Maryland Gazette on January 7, 2012
