Pruet, 43, former resident of the Arlington community, died suddenly of a heart attack Sunday morning at his home in New Palestine. A resident of New Palestine for nine years, Mr. Pruet was employed as a machinist at the Sco-Cam Manufacturing Company in Indianapolis. He was born in Franklin County on February 5, 1925, a son of Clem and Ethel Croddy Pruet, and was married January 1, 1944, to Esther McMichael, who survives. Mr. Pruet attended grade school in Andersonville and high school in Connersville. Surviving with the widow are a son, Richard Pruet of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Patricia, Karen and Darla, all at home, and a brother, James Delmas Pruet of Connersville. Four brothers and a sister preceded him in death. The Rev. Kenneth Heer will conduct services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moster and Sons Mortuary, where friends may call any time, with burial in the New Palestine Cemetery.
