Description	:	Franklin was the son of Hugh Hann and Sarah Jane Bowers. He married on January 21, 1894, to Cora Hattie Bowden (later Mrs. Mattheson). He was 79 years of age. Mr. Hann was born in Walnut township on Dec. 20, 1861, and spent his active years as a farmer in this county. Prior to going to Des Moines he had made his home for years in Winterset with his sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Welch. In 1894 he was married to Cora Boughton, and they were the parents of nine children, seven of whom survive their father. In addition to the seven children, he is survived by his former wife, and leaves five grandchildren and his sister, Mrs. Welch. Funeral services had not been completed Wednesday noon but they will be held in Winterset from Anderson's home for funerals, and burial will be made in the Peru cemetery.
