Description	:	Fred C. Card, 82, died Friday, May 6,1988, at Matney Morningside Manor in Sioux City after a short illness. Services were held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church. The pastor of the church officiated. A prayer service was held 7 p.m. Monday followed by a Masonic service by Triangle Lodge. Burial followed in Graceland Park Cemetery. He lived there until he was 17 years old when he moved to Sioux City, where he spent the rest of his life. He married Lottie L. Roberts June 28, 1946, in Sioux City. He was a butcher and foreman for Armour Packing Company, leaving there when it closed in 1962. He spent one year at Lewis Systems and then worked for Floyd Pack for two years until he retired. Mr. Card was a member of Morningside Presbyterian Church. He was Sunday School superintendent and taught a boys' Sunday School class at Westminister Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Triangle Lodge AF&AM, the Sioux City Consistory and Abu Bekr Shrine Temple. Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Darlene Peterson of Sioux City, Dorothy Matney of San Antonio, Texas; and Marilyn DeStigter of Sioux City; two step-daughters, Donna Raymond of Sanborn, Iowa, and Jeannette Eriksen of Sioux Falls, SD, two brothers, Paul Card Sr. of Perham, Minnesota; five grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 10 step-great grandchildren.
