Description	:	Funeral services for Fred E. Lucht, 60, were held Friday, Dec. 18, 1998 at the Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton. Reverend Kenneth Purscell officiated the 10:30 a.m. service with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery, Creighton. Pallbearers were Bernie Hart, Milford Hart, Merlyn Hart, Donald Hart, Kenny Hart and Willard Hart. Military Honors were given by Veterans of Foreign Wars #1151 of Creighton. Fred "Demps" E. Lucht, son of Edward and Genevieve Turner Lucht, was born October 29, 1938 at Bassett, Nebraska. He attended Wood Lake High School and graduated from Ainsworth High School He was married to Margaret E. Hart on September 20, 1960 Three daughters were born to them, Tammie, Beth and Sherrie. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956-58 and was employed by Austin's NAPA Store at Ainsworth until 1974, when he moved to Creighton. He owned and operated Creighton Motor Supply, Inc. He was a member of the United Church of Christ, where he served as deacon and a member of the board of trustees. He was a member of VFW Post #1151 and was a past president of the Creighton Chamber of Commerce. He died December 16, 1998 at Lundberg Memorial Hospital in Creighton at the age of sixty years. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; daughters and husbands, Tammie and Mike Schlote and Sherrie and Gary Zimmerer, all of Creighton and daughter, Beth Lucht of Norfolk; six grandchildren; sisters, Eva Nollette of Cody and Bonnie Finley of Ainsworth and brothers, Eric "Bud" Lucht of Ainsworth, Ernie Lucht of Kingman, AZ and Garrett "Bing" Lucht of Chambers.
