KILLED ON RAILROAD TRACK Byron (Sic) Peckham, a deaf man some 40 years old, whose sight was not very good, started home from town Wednesday evening walking on the railroad track when about two miles west of town he was run down about 6:15 by No. 64 freight going east. The engineer sounded the whistle but the unfortunate man's sight and hearing being both defective paid no attention with afore mentioned result.
