Many Friends Attend Kaiser Funeral Rites The body of Fred Kaiser, 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kaiser of Miles City, Mont. Who was accidentally shot a few days ago, was laid to rest in Bismarck today following funeral services at St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral with Father Hiltner officiating. The body came last night on No. 4, accompanied by George and Emil, brothers, who went to Miles City from Bismarck on receipt of word of the accident. Previous versions of the accident were corrected by them. Fred and his younger brother, Raymond, aged 8, were riding on a horse about a mile from Miles City. They had a gun, intending to shoot rabbits. Fred was holding the gun when it was accidentally discharged, wounding him fatally in the face and head. It had previously been reported the younger brother was holding the gun. Master Raymond endeavored to get help, but could not attract attention immediately. He tried to put his older brother on the horse but failed. When he finally got help Fred had passed away. Mrs. Kaiser, mother of Fred, was so overcome by the accident that she is seriously ill, and was unable to accompany the body here. Before being brought to Bismarck, a funeral, very largely attended, was held in Miles City. Fred was an excellent rider, and had participated in the Miles City Roundup.
