On February 9, 1968, in St. Joseph’s Church, Pulaski, he was married to Patricia Jane Scheffer, who survives. Fred had been employed at Wilson Foods and KMH Systems. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, Jeffrey (Teresa) Taylor, Logansport, Scott (Mindy) Taylor, Flora; daughter, Amy (Mike) Pullen, Galveston; brother, Richard (Marti) Taylor, Oreana, Ill; sister, Evelyn “Rusty” (Rudy) Rudisill, Clinton, Ill; grandchildren, Garrett Pullen, Michaela Pullen, Austin Taylor, Alyssa Taylor and Aydrial Taylor; nieces, Dawn, Kristi, Angi, Wendy, Kim and nephew, John, and their families. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1st, at Kroeger Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 2nd, also at the funeral home, with Rev. David Leman officiating. Interment with full military honors will be in Buck Cemetery, Thornhope. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Fred always dressed in casual clothing. Therefore, the family requests that those attending the funeral or visitation wear casual clothes as well.
