He was born March 12, 1912, in Saratov, Russia, and had lived here since 1987. Mr. Hamburger was a paint technician for Dale Electronics for 15 years, and was a gas station owner and farmer. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Gideons, Forever Young Group and a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Mr. Hamburger is survived by his wife, Minnie Hamburger of Cheyenne, whom he married in 1934; three children, Ilene Watke of Minneapolis, Mel Hamburger of Cheyenne and Carolyn Cassel of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brothers, Jona Hamburger of Fort Morgan, Colo., and Leroy Hamburger of Long Island, N.Y.; sister, Katherine Hill of California; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Katherine Hamburger; three brothers, Sam Hamburger, Reuben Hamburger and Joel Hamburger; and two sisters, Martha Rothman and Mary Evans. Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. Memorial servIces will be announced at a later date. Friends may contribute to the Gideons or First Baptist Church.
