Description	:	Freda Overbeck, 76, formerly of the Patterson Place, died April 24, 1998, in a local nursing home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, at Bismarck Reformed Church, with the Rev. Maury Millican officiating. Graveside services will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today, 1-9 p.m. Sunday, and for one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Freda Becknall was born July 2, 1921, in Bismarck, the daughter of Henry and Magdalene (Hust) Becknall. She was raised and educated in Bismarck. She moved to Glenfield where she met Bob Overbeck. She and Bob were married on Nov. 8, 1944, in Carrington. Bob and Freda moved to Bismarck in 1948 where they raised their five children. Freda played a major role in her grandchildren's lives and enjoyed every minute she had spent with them. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Koleen and James Vossler and Jana and Larry LaCoe, all of Bismarck; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Rita Overbeck, Mandan, and Bob and Pam Overbeck, Bismarck; two brothers, Ed Becknall, Bismarck, and Ted Becknall, Los Gatos, Calif.; one sister-in-law, Ann Becknall, Bismarck; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Wayne and Ann Vossler and Brady, Grand Forks, Shelly and Steve Mariner, Nick and Kayla, Scott and Chad LaCoe, and Crystal and Matthew Overbeck, all of Bismarck, and Carrie and Ryan Overbeck, Mandan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her parents; one daughter, Annette; and two brothers and a sister. (Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck.)
