At the time of her death she was 34 years and 10 days old. On January 2, 1918 she was married to Charles Trussell of Tina, Mo., who survives her with their two sons, Trenouth(sic) and Herman, who she leaves to mourn her loss. Besides her husband and sons she leaves her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Newton, of Tina, and three brothers, Glenn at home, Garnett, of Tina, and Clyde of Palo Alto, Calif. She united with the Methodist church when young, but transferred her membership to the Christian church. Freda, as we all called her was a woman of unblemished character and devoted to her church and home. Her life was a living evidence of her Master's teaching. No one doubted her. She commanded the respect of all and was loved by everyone. To serve her Lord and her church was her greatest joy. There could not have been a more consecrated or consciencious(sic) woman than she, and there are hundreds of people who cherish her memory because of the good she did to them. She was a noble wife, a loving mother, an affectionate daughter and sister and an ideal neighbor. She has run her course, she kept the faith, and there is laid up for her a crown of eteranal life. Funeral services were held in the Christian church at Clarence, MO., November 25. Rev. Dannie Martin, the pastor. She was laid to rest in the Maplewood cemetery.
