LOUIS Mrs. Freda Ellis, wife of Frank Ellis, died at her home in St. Louis Thursday, following an illness of only a few hours duration. Death was due to lobar pneumonia. She was a daughter of Alonzo and Nettie Hiles, former residents of Shelbyville, and was born Dec. 9, 1880, and grew to womanhood here. In addition to the husband, she leaves the mother, Mrs. Nettie Hiles, of Macon; two brothers, P. E. and P. D. Hiles, of St. Louis; seven sisters, Mrs. O. N. Sanders and Mrs. Anna Roach of Macon, Mrs. Ivan Chatten of Chenoa, Ill., Mrs. E. L. O'Connell of St. Louis, Mrs. Chas. Strawn, Mrs. T. R. Kellogg and Mrs. Harry I. Smith of Chicago. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by the Revs. Chas. R. Duncan of Nashville, Tenn., and B. R. Hollis of Shelbyville.
