Description	:	DIED--Frederick Eggert, living about two miles east of town, died on Sept. 30th, aged 52 years, 3 months and 20 days. He had been in ill health for many months and his death had been expected for several weeks. Cancer of the stomach with other complications, was the case ascribed. Frederick Eggert was born in Berwick, Penn. June 10th, 1849, moved to Saunders county, Neb., April 29th, 1868, was married to Miss Sarah J. Frederick Eggert was born in Berwick, Penn. June 10th, 1849, moved to Saunders county, Neb., April 29th, 1868, was married to Miss Sarah J. Depuy of Dixon, Illinois, Sept. 24th, 1871, and came to Fillmore county, March 1st, 1892. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn the untimely loss of a kind and loving husband and father. Deceased was an upright citizen and a good neighbor, and the family has the sympathy of the entire community. The funeral occurred from the home, Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. Lenfest of Dorchester, officiated. Geneva Gazette (Geneva) October 11th, 1901 page 8. ------------------------------- Son of Jacob and Geneveve Eggert. Came to Fillmore County on Marcy 1, 1892. Cause of death: Stomach cancer. Lot owner: Mrs. Sarah Jane Eggert.
