Pallbearers were Dale Bell, Paul Hilton, Guy, Haynie, Harley Stevesson, Louis Knop, and Raymond Waller. Mrs. Dale Bell, Mrs. Guy Haynie, Mrs. Harley Stevenson and Mrs. George Mort cared for the flowers. Interment was made in the Malvern cemetery with Masonic Rites by Silver Urn Lodge No. 234 held at the graveside. The following life sketch was read by Rev. Beebout: Frederick Dickersbach, son of Anton and Fredericka Dickersbach, was born March 28, 1883, near Imogene, Iowa and departed this life Jan. 14, 1957, at the Edmundson hospital in Council Bluffs. He grew up around Imogene where he attended the rural schools. In 1913, he moved to a farm west of Malvern where he has lived for 43 years. On Feb. 18, 1909, he was united in marriage to Ida Burton at the bride's home near Emerson. To this union four sons were born. One son, Blaine, preceded him in death Feb. 12, 1946. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Ida; three sons, Darwin of Council Bluffs, Clyde of Glenwood and Otha of Malvern; two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Anderson of Malvern and Mrs. Anna Ballain of Imogene; six grand children and other relatives and friends. Fred has been a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Malvern since 1908. On May 23, 1956, he received his 50 year certificate as a Mason from the Silver Urn Lodge at Malvern. He was a member of the Knights Templar. Two years ago, Mr. Dickersbach wrote out the following thought and requested that it be given at his memorial services: "We should always remember that when the strength of a man faileth, there is an inexhaustible supply yielded through the power of prayer." Relatives coming from a distance to attended funeral services for Mr. Dickersbach on Monday were Mr. and Mrs. John Hanson, Randolph, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Burton, Mr. and Mrs. Lorton Burton and Lori, Hartington, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Roberts, Mrs. W. H. French and Darrell, Carroll, Nebr.; J. M. Roberts and Delbert, Wayne Nebr.; Ray Roberts, Wakefied, Nebr.; Mrs. Rena Randal, S. Sioux City, Nebr.; Mrs. Bertha Burton and Gaylord, Laurel, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Langely, Tekamah, Nebr. Mrs. French is Mrs. Dickersbach's sister and came Sunday and is spending this week with her.
