He grew up at Wolsey and graduated form High School there. He was baptized on January 9, 1908 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wolsey and confirmed there on April 9, 1922. On May 28, 1930 he married Leona Stammer at Pipestone, MN. In 1933 they moved to Huron and he worked for city Service for thirty years. Read More	SSDI South Dakota Birth Record ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Frederick Herman Krueger was Born on December 24, 1907 at Wolsey to Otto and Anna (Fahrnow) Krueger. He grew up at Wolsey and graduated form High School there. He was baptized on January 9, 1908 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wolsey and confirmed there on April 9, 1922. On May 28, 1930 he married Leona Stammer at Pipestone, MN. In 1933 they moved to Huron and he worked for city Service for thirty years. During WWII he taught radio code to cadet aviators in Sioux Falls, SD. He then returned to Huron and the Bulk Oil service retiring in 1969. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Huron and had played the church organ for a number of years at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wolsey and at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Huron. Fred also enjoyed collecting and polishing Montana agates. He was preceded in death by his firs wife Leona in March of 1972. On August 5, 1973 he married Esther Jungemann at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Huron. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Ralph Edward Krueger in 1939, his first wife, Leona, one sister Mahela Stegeman and one brother Walter Krueger. Survivors include his wife, Esther Krueger of Huron; one step-son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Sharon Jungemann of Wolsey, one step-daughter, Darlene Jungemann of Huron and one step-grandson, Brent Jungemann of Wolsey; on brother Paul Krueger of Huron and one sister, Hertha Eichstadt of Wolsey and many nieces and nephews. Fred died Sunday, February 6th, 1994 at his residence at the age of 86 years, one month and twelve days. Funeral Program
