He was born March 31, 1912, at Omaha, Neb. When he was eight years of age he came to Geneva, where he made his home with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Harrington. Read More	Nebraska Signal February 4, 1926 Death of Frederick Hanlin Frederick John Hanlin, only son of the late Fred and Kate Hanlin, departed from this life at Sunnyrest sanitarium, Denver, Col., January 28, 1926. He was born March 31, 1912, at Omaha, Neb. When he was eight years of age he came to Geneva, where he made his home with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Harrington. His mother and father departed this life four years ago, leaving him an orphan. He graduated from the Geneva parochial school last spring and entered high school this fall. Frederick had many friends and playmates. When once he made an acquaintance, he was always a friend. Frederick will be missed by all who knew him. Frederick never complained, but his lungs were affected and he was taken to Denver hoping to benefit his health. He failed to find relief. Frederick is survived by his grandmother, Mrs. John Harrington, and several aunts and uncles. The body was brought to Geneva Sunday. Funeral services were held from the Catholic church Monday, February 1, 1926, at 9:30, conducted by Rev. George Agius. The pallbearers were Ed McClusky, Bernard Baroch, Clarence Wels, Duane Hafer, James Willy and Jennings McGraw. Six of his little playmates acted as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Elder sang "Face to Face." Interment was in the Geneva cemetery by the side of his mother and father.
