Description	:	FREDERICK LEWIS8 COE (George Walter7, Philip6, Hezekiah5, Elijah4, John3, Richard2, Richard1) was born February 28, 1884, at Palmyra, Warren County, IA. A 1900 resident of Knox County, NE, before 1910 he, his twin brother George and his brother Charles homesteaded in Saskatchewan, Canada. After a few years he moved on to Havre, Montana, where he homesteaded again. A farmer, he also found employment with the Great Northern Railroad at their roundhouse in Havre. A 1900 resident of Knox County, NE, before 1910 he, his twin brother George and his brother Charles homesteaded in Saskatchewan, Canada. After a few years he moved on to Havre, Montana, where he homesteaded again. A farmer, he also found employment with the Great Northern Railroad at their roundhouse in Havre. Tall and medium build, with blue eyes and light brown hair, in 1926 he loaded his family and belongings in a Model T Ford and headed for Kinsella, Alberta. The trip took ten days, stuck in the mud at Medicine Hat, Alberta, for several of them. A farmer and ranchhand there, in 1937 he went by train to Beaverlodge, a small town on the Alberta/British Columbia line. Later joined by his wife and children, in 1939 they moved on to Wembley, Alberta, where he purchased a dray business, picking tip goods at the train station and delivering them to local businesses. He died in January 1956 at Grande Prairie, Alberta. He married in 1910, Laura Byrde Mark, born January 18, 1890, at Bloomfield, NE, died of a heart attack September 9, 1949, at Wembley, Alberta, Canada.
