Read More	- Death of F.M. Aldridge. - Mr. Frederick M. Aldridge died at his residence on upper Main street, in this place, at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon, in the 54th year of his age. He had been in bad health for a number of years, but for the last two there had been a gradual decline and a wasting away until the end came. During the past two years he was confined to his room at various periods, and was so much reduced in strength and flesh that it was a matter of surprise to his friends that he could get out at all, yet he was often on the street, attending to business, and was always cheerful. Even up to last Friday he was out attending to business. His death, although not a surprise to his many friends, carried sorrow to many hearts. Mr. Aldridge was a native of this place, where he spent most of his life, and where he was known as a high-toned, honorable gentleman, kind and genial, a firm friend and an honest man. He learned the printing business in this place, and worked at the trade here most of his life, and was a bright and useful newspaper man. At different times he worked in Richmond and Washington, where he had many warm friends. His demise removes from the field of Fredericksburg journalism one of the last of those who were connected with it before the war. He was a member of the Baptist Church and of the Knights of Pythias. He leaves a wife and three small children: two boys and one girl; an aged mother and one sister, all of whom are deeply grieved, and who have the sympathy of the community. His funeral will take place from the Baptist Church, Sunday evening, at 3 o'clock. The following are pallbearers: Active—John H. Robinson, James Musselman, John H. Myer, Jr., John E. Mason, John J.
