Description	:	Frederick O. Fritz, 68 April 25, 1921 ~ January 4, 1990 Frederick O. was born April 25, 1921, at Red Oak, Iowa to Orval and Elsie (Benau) Fritz. He grew up at Red Oak. He served in the United States Army during World War II for 3 ½ years and was stationed in the Philippines. After the service he lived in Omaha, NE and worked at the Falstaff Brewery from 1947-1957. He moved to the Spiker area between Arlington, NE and Blair, NE in 1957 and worked at Lazy R Feed Mills, north of Arlington until moving to Fremont, NE in 1975. He married Helen L. Huddleston April 10, 1945, in Omaha, Nebraska. They were blessed with four sons and four daughters. She preceded him in death on July 13, 1989. Frederick O. Fritz, formerly of Fremont, died January 4, 1990, at the Nebraska Veterans Home in Norfolk, Nebraska, of a probable heart attack. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Albert Fritz and Theodore Fritz; and a granddaughter, Kelly Fritz. Left with memories are sons: Stephen Orr of Myrtle Point, Oregon; Karl Fritz of Medford, Oregon; Russell Fritz of Fremont and Fred Wayne Fritz of North Bend, Nebraska; daughters: Betty (Mrs. Gaston) Adcock of Fort Worth, Texas; Joyce (Mrs. Steven) Kubel of Fremont; Susan (Mrs. Preston) Butler of Ocean Side, California; Marsha (Mrs. Ray) Werst of Fremont; a sister, Marguerite Ballain of Nebraska City; 23 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont forRev. Dana Mark of St. Timothy Lutheran Church is officiating. Burial is in Memorial Cemetery at Fremont with military graveside services conducted by members of Fremont’s V.F.W. Post 854 and American Legion Post No. 20 Pallbearers are Roland Rasmussen, David Rasmussen, Tony Ballain, Ron Newby, Vince Andreasen and Jason Andreasen.
