Frederika Katherine Ebinger, nee Riethmiller, was born on Oct. 31st, 1873 in Neckarrems, Wurtemberg, Germany and died at Holdrege, Neb., at the age of 86. H. C. Hoesch, assisted by the Rev. H. R. Knosp, of Julian, Neb., Officiating. Frederika Katherine Ebinger, nee Riethmiller, was born on Oct. 31st, 1873 in Neckarrems, Wurtemberg, Germany and died at Holdrege, Neb., at the age of 86. She immigrated to America with her parents in March, 1885 and settled in Franklin County. On March 3, 1891, she was united in marriage with Christian F. Ebinger of Huntley, Neb., in Harlan County. They began their married life on a homestead, and shared the experiences of those early settlers. They endured hardship and privation, and proved themselves sterling characters. Two sons and one daughter were born to the couple. In 1920 she united with the Evangelical Church three miles east of Huntely[sic], Neb. and remained a member until the Congregation disbanded. She then transferred her membership to the Methodist Church at Ragan, where she was faithful so long as health permitted. She was a member of the Woman's Society of the Methodist Church, The Two Mile Square Club, and the Degree of Honor. Her immediate survivors are: The Rev. F. C. Ebinger, of Elmwood, Nebraska, Mrs. Carrie Cole, of Sparks, Nevada, and Paul Ernest Ebinger, of Alma Nebraska. Five grand-children, and 11 great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
