Description	:	Fred Augustine Ricke was born August 28, 1888 at Conception, Missouri, where he lived until 4 years old age, then moved with his parents to Andale, Kansas. They moved to Sharon in 1907 where he resided until death called him April 22, 1935, age 47 years, 7 months, 4 days. In 1914 he was united in marriage to Mary Hrenchir. To this union were born seven children: three sons, Francis, Seraphine, and Wilfred, and four daughters, Catherine, Marie, Mildred and Lorena. They moved to Sharon in 1907 where he resided until death called him April 22, 1935, age 47 years, 7 months, 4 days. In 1914 he was united in marriage to Mary Hrenchir. To this union were born seven children: three sons, Francis, Seraphine, and Wilfred, and four daughters, Catherine, Marie, Mildred and Lorena. Besides his wife, these sons and daughters are left to mourn, seven brothers, Joe, Frank, Henry, Willie, Ben, Nick, all of Sharon, and John of Zenda, two sisters, Maggie Albers of St. Leo and Anna Lang of Serman, Texas. Funeral services were held at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Wednesday, April 24, at 8 o'clock with Father Albers of Newton, a nephew of the deceased officiating, Father Heimann delivering the sermon. He was laid to rest in St. Boniface cemetery. Mr. Ricke had been in poor health for several months. All that loving care and the best available medical skill could do was done in vain. The writer, with his many other friends, sorrow that he should be called from our midst while he should yet be in the prime of life.
