Williams, 1109 North Seventh street, will be held at the Cookes - funeral home, in Mount Pleasant, at 2:30 Sunday afternoon. Officiating will be the Rev. Emanuel Wolff, pastor of Oak Street Baptist church. Burial will be in White Oak cemetery, in Henry county. Williams died in Mercy hospital on April 6, which was the seventh anniversary of the death of his wife, Margaret. He had lived in Burlington since her death. Most of his life was spent in Mount Pleasant. A native of Cherokee county, Williams was born Aug. 19, 1880, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Williams. He is survived by three sons and a daughter: Audry Williams, 1313 Spruce street; Orma Williams, 724 South Leebrick street: Ralph Williams, 1130 Osborn street, and Mrs. Maxine Krieger, of 1716 Grube street. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. A son, Reu Williams, died previously.
