The daughter of Edward and Alice Walker, she was born in Davis County February 23, 1906 and had lived there until six years ago when she moved to Ottumwa. Mrs. Steele is survived by her husband; one daughter, Alice; her mother, Mrs. Alice Walker of Bloomfield; two sisters, Mrs. May Steward of Sunflower, Kansas and Mrs. Velma Francis of Bloomfield; one brother, Alvin Walker of Bloomfield; and Paul Amelang, who made his home with the family.
