Description	:	Frieda Jung, daughter of Jacob and Katherina (Heyne) Jung, Jr. was born January 2, 1924 in Hosmer, SD. She attended rural schools near Hosmer. She was united in marriage to Gottlieb Morlock on October 22, 1944 in the Congregational Church at Hosmer. They lived and farmed in the Eureka area, later moving to California. While Gottlieb served in the United States Army overseas, she lived in Washington. When he returned in 1946, they moved back to Eureka to farm for a few years. She attended rural schools near Hosmer. She was united in marriage to Gottlieb Morlock on October 22, 1944 in the Congregational Church at Hosmer. They lived and farmed in the Eureka area, later moving to California. While Gottlieb served in the United States Army overseas, she lived in Washington. When he returned in 1946, they moved back to Eureka to farm for a few years. They later moved to Aberdeen for a short time, where she worked as a waitress. They moved to Mitchell, SD so her husband could attend college and later moved to Milwaukee, WI. They divorced and she moved to Hager City, WI where she worked at Riviera Cabinets until retirement. She enjoyed cooking, baking and sharing with friends. She died Friday, April 27, 2007 at Red Wing Health Center, Red Wing, MN. Survivors include three sisters, Adeline (Werner) Maier of Aberdeen, Emma Loeffler of Shakopee, MN and Ardella (Roy) Klein of Eureka, two brothers, Mervin (Loretta) Jung of Aberdeen and Morris (Ruth) Jung of Diamond Bluff, WI and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, one sister, Alma Aman and three brothers, Aron, Elmer and Reinhold Jung preceded her in death. Funeral service for Freida Morlock, 83, of Red Wing and formerly of Eureka will be Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ at Eureka. The Rev. Dianne Rood-Kiesz will officiate. Burial will be in the Eureka City Cemetery. Carlsen Funeral Home of Eureka has been entrusted with arrangements.
