She was one of two children born to this union. Frieda attended rural school thru the 8th grade. She was united in marriage to Elmer J. Hahn on December 20, 1924 in Kansas. Read More	Centenarian ============================== Obituary: Frieda Elvera Goering, daughter of George Goering and Lena Boellstorf was born on July 25, 1905, on a farm west of Johnson, NE. She was one of two children born to this union. Frieda attended rural school thru the 8th grade. She was united in marriage to Elmer J. Hahn on December 20, 1924 in Kansas. They moved to the farm southwest of Johnson where she lived for the last 82 years. She was a member of the Johnson Methodist Church. Frieda loved the farm, gardening, especially her flower gardening, tatting needle work, and spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors was one of her greatest joys. Due to ill health, Frieda entered Good Samaritan Society in Auburn on August 15 and it is there that on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, she passed away having reached the age of 106 years, 3 months, 9 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elmer, one brother Alvin, son-in-law Rudolph Bohling, and great-grandson Jonah Hahn. Frieda is survived by her children Dwight Hahn and wife Betty of Sioux Falls, SD; and Betty Bohling of Johnson, Ne. 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Frieda E. Hahn's services were held Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church, in Johnson, Nebr. and burial was in the church cemetery near Johnson, Nebraska. A lunch was served at the Johnson American Legion following the burial.
