Description	:	Frieda (Herrmann) Wegner was born July 18, 1906 to Johannes and Margaretha (Siffermann) Herrmann at Neu-Glückstal, Odessa, Russia. In 1911, she immigrated to the U.S. with her parents and they settled in Kyseth Township, Dunn County, ND (near Marshall/Halliday/Manning) (NOTE: Today, Neu Glueckstal is called TSybulivka,a village in Odessa Oblast, Ukraine. Ukraine has been independent of Russia since 1991) She attended school at Big Flat Consolidated #6 in Dunn County On April 5, 1926, at the age of 20, she married David Wegner, and they farmed near Dodge, in Mercer County, ND until relocating to Bismarck, ND in 1948. They raised two sons and two daughters on the farm. In the early morning hours of Easter Sunday, April 18, 1976, Frieda passed away at home with her husband by her side. It was just two weeks after their family had gathered to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Frieda was survived by her husband David, sons Wilbert and Marvin of Bismarck, daughters Nettie (Hilmer) Erdmann of Garrison, ND and Deloris (Richard) Berg of St. Paul, MN, 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition, she was survived by siblings: three brothers, Ted, Alfred, Gustave; seven sisters Emma Peterhoff, Alvina Herrmann, Elsie Smith, Amy Boehlke, Esther Bedient, Viola Daoust, and Ruth McLagan.
