Mark De Witt officiating. The former Frieda Lammers was born June 8, 1921, In Sioux Center, the daughter of Ralph and Kattie (Van Donge) Lammers. She married Jake Vande Brake May 16, 1939, In Orange City. She enjoyed baking and had a love and talent for music. She gave music lessons for many years and organized and led many musical groups. She liked to entertain the elderly and was a member of the Senior Saints. She was a member of First Reformed Church, where she was a member of the Eunice Circle and played the organ. Survivors include her husband; her father of Ireton; two daughters and their husbands, Karen and Dale Den Herder of Sioux Center "and Donna and Virgil Van Beek of Le Mars; five sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Dorothy) Mouw of Sioux Center, Ruth Van Ravenswaay of Ireton, Mrs. Ralph (Bertha) Schat of Sheldon, Mrs. Fred (Evelyn) Lamfers of Sioux Center and Mrs. Al (Lila) Van Dyke of Sibley; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Stephanie Harshbarger, Lonnie Harshbarger, Troy Van Beek, Pam Van Beek, Grant Van Beek, Marta Van Beek, Amy Den Herder and Nick Van Es. Sioux Center News 1995-08-29.
