Description	:	Frieda "Fritz" Mildred Boelter, 93, Minot, ND, died February 13, 2007, in a Minot nursing home. Frieda was born on October 7, 1913, on the family homestead near Litchville, ND, the daughter of Norwegian immigrants, John and Mette (Trangsather) Paulson. She was reared and educated in the Litchville area and worked on the farm. She married Leo Sand in Valley City, ND on June 2, 1935. He died as a result of an accident on September 25, 1938. Read More	Frieda "Fritz" Mildred Boelter, 93, Minot, ND, died February 13, 2007, in a Minot nursing home. Frieda was born on October 7, 1913, on the family homestead near Litchville, ND, the daughter of Norwegian immigrants, John and Mette (Trangsather) Paulson. She was reared and educated in the Litchville area and worked on the farm. She married Leo Sand in Valley City, ND on June 2, 1935. He died as a result of an accident on September 25, 1938. On November 5, 1940, she married Lawrence Boelter in the Griswold Church in Litchville. They lived in Litchville until moving to Grand Forks where he was manager for the Farmers Union Oil and she was the bookkeeper. They later moved to Glen Ullin, North Dakota where they held the same positions. After a time there, they moved to McVille, ND, where they were partners in the McVille State Bank. Lawrence died in November of 1968. After his death she moved to California for a short time before moving to Minot where she worked for Morelli Distributing as a bookkeeper. Over the years, she assisted in her family's businesses well into her 90's. Fritz was a member of First Lutheran Church, Minot. She worked in the First Lutheran Fair booth and helped cook rummagrØt for the First Lutheran Booth at Norsk HØstfest. Fritz put her family first and was a great example to them of her work ethic. She loved music and played the organ and piano. Those who loved her so much: son, John (Donna) Sand, Las Vegas, NV; daughters, Brenda (Reggie) Morelli, Minot; Sandra (Samuel) Durrazzo, Fullerton, CA, and Roxanne (Peter) Maragos, Minot; ten grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Leo Sand and Lawrence Boelter; and 13 brothers and sisters. Funeral: Friday, February 16, 2007 at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, Minot Burial: Memory Gardens, Valley City, ND in the spring of 2007. Visitation: Thursday, today, from noon until 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot. Memorials are preferred to First Lutheran Church or Trinity Foundation, Minot. Officiant: Rev.
