Description	:	Frederika Stahlecker was born in Friedenstal, South Russia on Sept. 7, 1860. She came to America with her parents in 1874. On March 8, 1884, she married Ferdinand Klaudt. They moved to their own farm five and one-half miles southwest of Tripp, South Dakota. Two years later when Tripp became a settlement, they moved to Tripp. There her husband operated a dray line. In 1893, they migrated to the fruit country of Oregon near Eugene. But they returned to Tripp after two years and again operated a dray line. In 1915 they moved back to Tripp, and in 1920 they moved to Parkston, South Dakota. In 1934 this pioneer couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Frederika and her husband had 14 children. This included Albert(died at 11 yrs), Alfred (died at 12 yrs), Gottlieb, Theobold (died at 14 yrs), Emilia (died at 15 yrs), Mathilda, John (died at 17 yrs), Ida, Hedwig, Lydia (died at 10 yrs), Edna (died at 11 yrs), Emelia, Louise and Viola. At the time of her death, Frederika had 23 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 38 great great-grandchildren. *****************************
